(Criminal defence of two transgender women charged with indecent practice between males contrary to Section 165 of the Penal Code, Cap 63 Laws of Kenya.)
This case came up for further hearing of the prosecution’s case today 17th October, 2022.
The hearing did not proceed however, as the prosecution failed to present any witnesses and instead requested for an adjournment.
After considering our objections to the application for adjournment, the court allowed the prosecution a last adjournment.
The case will now proceed on 7th November, 2022, when the prosecution is required to close its case.
